Emily & Dave’s Zephyr Palace wedding featured in Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine

News, Press | 18 May 2009

Emily & Dave’s magnificent wedding at Zephyr Palace was featured in the Real Weddings section of Destination Weddings & Honeymoons magazine! What I loved about this wedding was how fun and colorful it was, from the tropical flowers to the salsa dance show and lesson. Not to mention the multiple-color sunset. The guests truly had a ‘pura vida’ time in Costa Rica!

Thinking outside the box…your wedding in Costa Rica!

“Thinking outside the box” – What bride doesn’t want something different? Thinking outside the box results in beautiful wedding details that reflect the personality of the bride and groom…

Lighting design:

Hiring a lighting designer is a great investment, particularly when having the reception in a ballroom space. The lighting really changes the space and makes the colors pop. This is an area where you can splurge and it will certainly leave a visual impact on your guests. Give custom lighting a thought, and this may just make your wedding the most talked about event your friends will attend this year.

Ceremony set-up:

It’s important to mark your territory when planning an outdoor ceremony, especially when it takes place on the beach in Costa Rica. You can mark your territory with some bamboo poles and decor, such as fabric and/or flowers. In the case of this event, the bride and groom loved roses and pinks, oranges and yellows.

How to make your guests feel part of the ceremony? The bride and groom decided to arrange the chairs in a circle so that their friends and family were surrounding them throughout the entire ceremony. Now that is thinking outside the box!
