Events & Weddings Costa Rica started as a fusion of two people, two cultures and one vision - extraordinary events in tropical Costa Rica. This dream has become a reality as they continue to orchestrate memorable events.
Events & Weddings Costa Rica specializes in full-service wedding and event design. As a boutique company, we service a limited number of events per year, offering our clients the time and personalized touch that they deserve.
Samantha Kohn
While living in New York City, Samantha first came to Costa Rica to explore the endless ocean activities and the lush rainforests that she missed in city living. Little did she know that she would one day call Costa Rica home, as well as the location of her own wedding. Samantha has a BA from Colgate University and an MBA from Thunderbird.
Samantha is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants. Samantha’s extensive experience in event planning, marketing and client relations was born into a new adventure: Events & Weddings Costa Rica.
Amedeo Gaggion
Born and raised in Costa Rica, Amedeo is as ‘tico’ as they come. Amedeo has traveled extensively and lived abroad as part of an international career but his heart has always remained in Costa Rica. He has extensive knowledge of the country’s natural resources and beautiful spots for the perfect event. Amedeo has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Costa Rica and an MBA from Thunderbird, where he specialized in international business. Amedeo’s experience in business management and logistics helped form the foundation of Events & Weddings Costa Rica.
