There is so much about this wedding (and couple!) that I love! For starters, Ann and Mark are such a sweet couple and it’s so evident how in love they are! Not to mention they are both so talented. All of the invitations, favors, programs, welcome bags…they created them all as Mark is a creative director and Ann is a freelance designer. Wow! I had the pleasure of meeting with Jared and Liz a few times before their wedding. They love Costa Rica that much that they came down to visit several times! It was such a treat to get to know them before their wedding. What a lovely and in love couple. The wedding reflected their laid-back style with rustic wood centerpieces and lots of color – from the flowers to the lanterns to the candles. Jazmine & Jimmy: highschool sweethearts who came to Costa Rica from Texas to celebrate their love and say ‘I do’. Many guests traveled from afar for the wedding weekend: From Australia, New Zealand, England and of course Texas. It was a fun-packed week for the guests as they participated in ATV-ing, canopy, horseback riding, snorkeling and catamaran.

At the wedding, green was the color of choice. I love green! It’s fresh, a classic and goes with so much! We paired it with chocolate brown and it was absolutely stunning! Thank you to El Velo Photography for the gorgeous photos and videos.

Rehearsal dinner: Avellanas Beach Club, Hacienda Pinilla

Guests came all of the way from Idaho to celebrate with Tia and Jonathan. The rehearsal dinner was held at the beautiful, brand new beach club in Playa Avellanas. We were fortunate enough to be the very first rehearsal dinner to be held at the beach club! Not only is the beach club gorgeous but the entire property of Hacienda Pinilla is so picturesque. Las Palapas is the ideal wedding venue, smack dab on the beach! Tia’s dress was stunning – part of the Maggie Sottero Destinations Collection. Colors: green, white and a pop of yellow; Details: bamboo chairs, candles, and lanterns all combined to create a rustic beach feel.
